This is some scary stuff. Oftentimes, I shrug these things off, perhaps foolishly, but this time, so soon after the many attacks on innocents around the globe, I am worried, saddened – aware. But, even as the real haters of the world continue to threaten us, and challenge our joy of life, I will continue to love and hope. I wish us all safe travels and enjoyment as the Holiday Season approaches. I can’t help but think of a verse from my Mother’s favorite Psalm 23:4
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
My mom would have definitely called upon prayer and faith during times like these and common sense. Most importantly, we must continue to live our lives fully. We must Love and Hope for Peace. That is the true message of this Season anyway, isn’t it? Have a Blessed Morning. Namaste.
A quote from the State Department TRAVEL ALERT:
“The State Department alerts U.S. citizens to possible risks of travel due to increased terrorist threats. Current information suggests that ISIL (aka Da’esh), al-Qa’ida, Boko Haram, and other terrorist groups continue to plan terrorist attacks in multiple regions. These attacks may employ a wide variety of tactics, using conventional and non-conventional weapons and targeting both official and private interests. This Travel Alert expires on February 24, 2016.”
