If you are one of those people who has put off going to see “The Dark Knight”… I am here to tell you to jump right in and enjoy the ride!! It is wonderful. The performances are fantastic in this movie. I know the hype has been about Heath Ledger and it is no overstatement to say that his diabolical Joker is a marvel to behold. The action is cool, the gadgets are amazing, the boys are hot! This movie had me covering my eyes and laughing out loud – all the while proudly acknowledging Chicago spots throughout.
I kept thinking to myself: “could this film be any louder?” but thank God it was loud because it drowned out the screaming baby (yes, baby) that someone had brought into the theater. OY!
This movie has folks debating life all over the place! This ain’t your average “action superhero” flick. It really is a fantastic, fun event. The writing is so stellar it will almost distract you. I even found myself applauding after a scene. And after sitting on the edge of my seat through the entire movie… they upped the ante at the end.

P.S. The self serve buttering station was atrocious. What a mess! And two of the butter dispensers were broken!! I complained like an old beeyatch. “I pay $10.50 for a film and then I have to look at this filth?”
