It’s been two weeks now and I’m still being active. I’ve had a lot of time off this month (November is a notoriously slow month) and I used the time to work out. So my first night back to real work (five hours on my feet – three of it dancing) was a real test. I was anxious to see if I would need to sit down like I have been feeling the need to do before the working out, and guess what? I was dancing and kept moving. I felt so happy to move and actually wanted to keep moving so I could get a workout. I made the connection between some of the serious cardio work that I have been attempting at the gym and the energy it takes to perform well. I can’t wait to get that heart pumping again because I see how it will affect my performing life. The more I exert during the week at the gym the more I will be able to exert in performance. This makes me happy. And it’s only been two weeks!
We did a wedding tonight and they were such a wonderful group of people. The dance floor was full all night and they were all about old school soul music – Motown, Stevie Wonder, Sam & Dave, “Land of a 1,000 Dances,” The Staple Singers – it was a joy to perform for them/with them. They were a lively bunch.

I would like to add that my knees are killing me today and my lower back was too last night.

I would have loved to hear the tunes at that wedding! Don’t believe I’ve heard you and the Shivers do Land of 1,000 Dances. Now that’s a blast from my past. That cardio seems to be agreeing with you. Keep in mind that each pound lost is 4 pounds of pressure off the knee joint. Cartilage is mainly fluid and water always help the joints and the discs in the spine. Glad to hear you are on a positive physical trail. Kudos and keep up the workouts! Trump sounds marvelous. Have a blessed and healthy Thanksgiving.

The wedding was a fun time! You are cracking me up with your knowledge of cartilage!! And I know that the weight is tough on the ole joints and that working out helps strengthen the muscles around the ole knees… long way to go but excited about the journey, if I can keep it up… one day at a time!
The Trump is glorious.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
