I haven't owned a functioning weight scale in some time. I had a weight scale - it just wasn't functioning. And the reason for this? It needed a new battery - one of those round flat batteries (it looks like a nickel) whose size I could never recall whilst in the housewares section of the supermarket or Walgreens.
