Another Great Weekend of Performing.
Lynne Jordan & the Shivers had another great weekend of work. I performed at the Drake Hotel on Friday and at a wonderful wedding on Saturday night. And we had a blast! We had to have a sub (substitute) on Bass as Dave had to do an out of town trip with his church. I love singing at weddings.
Last night's gig was a wedding. And it was a humdinger! The bride was from Chicago. She had an MBA and was a world traveler. I got all of this info from the speeches made. In fact, the best man's speech was so funny and he was so charming (Oh! That accent!) that I kept thinking that I shoulda paid an admission to see it!
