I have been back at it folks - going to the movies. I had a moment there (about a month or two) where I didn't see shit, but I'm over that now. The thing is you gotta go every week to keep up with the indie and foreign flicks cause some of them stay at the theater less than a week. Oy! One day I will OD on buttered popcorn. I've put together a short list of some movies that stick in my mind. Some of these films are long gone from Chicago theaters. You will have to rent them or wait for the …
Go See: New York, I Love You.
I just got home from the second installment in the "Cities of Love" Movies: "New York, I love You" Just like "Paris, Je T'aime" New York, I love You is a film featuring eight minute shorts directed by different director's with an all-star cast. Tales of love, heartache, humor, fantasy and bit of tragedy, all created by 20 different film makers, each one showing their …

I had a couple conversations with friends and relatives who just weren't making me feel better or maybe I am hyper sensitive to shit right now. Anyway, suddenly I remembered!! I can watch a movie! That'll make me feel better! That's what will take me away from inside of my head & heart. I got a few hundred to choose from... I popped in "Four Months, …
