Some Great Movies.

November 6, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I have been back at it folks - going to the movies. I had a moment there (about a month or two) where I didn't see shit, but I'm over that now. The thing is you gotta go every week to keep up with the indie and foreign flicks cause some of them stay at the theater less than a week. Oy! One day I will OD on buttered popcorn. Go See: New York, I Love You.

October 29, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I just got home from the second installment in the "Cities of Love" Movies: "New York, I love You" Just like "Paris, Je T'aime" New York, I love You is a film featuring eight minute shorts directed by different director's with an all-star cast. The texture of this film was grittier, more... you know... New York. There were some repeat of themes: married couples role playing, a child care person's life as servant vs. their own world, love, and the city. New York seemed so full and so alive. …

Paris, Je T’aime – watch it, rent it. own it!

October 28, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I'm watching: "Paris, Je T'aime" (Paris, I love you.) 2006 C'est magnifique! 20 different directors each filming one five minute movie (2 days shoot time allowed) including the likes of The Coen Bros, Wes Craven, Gurinder Chadha, Nobuhiro Suwa, to name a few. They are all film shorts, in and about Paris and featuring a multi- national cast. I am enjoying it very much! Tales of love, heartache, humor, fantasy and bit of tragedy, all created by 20 different film makers, each one showing their …

I Watched a Movie. I’m all better now…

May 1, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

Thank goodness! I was feeling pretty sad and pathetic at the time of my last post: "Too Good To Be True" and I just couldn't shake it. I had a couple conversations with friends and relatives who just weren't making me feel better or maybe I am hyper sensitive to shit right now. Anyway, suddenly I remembered!! I can watch a movie! That'll make me feel better! That's what will take me away from inside of my head & heart. I got a few hundred to choose from... I popped in "Four Months, …
