How does one dress to perform outdoors in 90+ degree temperatures? Make-up, eyelashes, feathers, girdles ...I don't think so! Hydration is key, and nutrition (protein) - Once, I sang in the heat on an empty stomach ... bad move. …
The Adventures of Permanent Lifestyle Change Girl – The Reboot! My Trainer Got Real Today!
I knew it was coming. Last week, Jeremy the trainer was such a nice young man, gentle and kind. Today, he was still kind as he gently kicked my butt. It felt good - even when I fantasized about flinging that weighted ring thingy into the window instead of moving it slowly "to the right side - shoulders down, relax the neck." I kid, because I know that we are doing very basic movements, I'm just out of shape. This old body of mine is hanging in there though. I only wanted to stop once or twice. …
The Adventures of Permanent Lifestyle Change Girl – The Reboot!
Well, I'm back to it again. I have officially decided to get healthy. Only this time I'm getting help and I am accountable to someone. Today marked my first session with a trainer and a fitness team. I am back at it. I have had so many false starts that I refrained from posting about my latest effort to lose weight. But it's been several weeks now and after losing 16 pounds I am formally declaring: IT'S ON! I am obese. I am a fat ass bitch and I'm sick of it. Folks get upset when I call myself fat. They even argue wih me: "You're not fat!" to which I respond: Remind me to never believe another word that comes out of your mouth again! I weigh over 300 pounds! I'm fat! face it! …
