CHI-RAQ the movie, a Spike Lee Joint

November 23, 2015 By //  by Lynne Jordan

Russell Brand, Howlin Wolf & Nina Simone

June 14, 2013 By //  by Lynne Jordan

It is the individuality of these three artists that has touched me. A British comedian, a Bluesman and Nina Simone. Their names alone say who they are if you know them. Think about it. Me & the Million Dollar Quartet

I have been asked to appear and sing with the cast of the Million Dollar Quartet at the Apollo theater in Chicago on Thursday, May 20, 2010.   The show has been playing here to sold out houses for darn near two years. You must be asking:  How did you pull this one out of your hat?   …

Seanachai Theatre Company’s tour de force: “Mojo Mickybo”

November 2, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I experienced the most wonderful piece of theater ever. I went to see "Seanachai's Theatre's" Fall production entitled "Mojo Mickybo." It is a two person piece- no sets, no backdrops - just pure dynamic tour de force acting in an intimate setting (38 seats). I have never seen so much energy and brilliance performed live before my eyes in ages!! …
