The Ambassador's Residence.
I really wanted to write a post last night but I was so tired after I returned to the room. I just crashed!

So a quick recap:
Ambassador Jacobson and his wife Julie are lovely, down to earth people and a great couple.

The dinner was fabulous (five courses). I was surrounded by CEO’s, owners and directors of everything.

I sang “Summertime” in front of the guests in the dining room. (more later)

I sat at the Ambassador’s table.

I am so proud and moved by the importance of being a part of this celebration.

I can’t wait to explain in detail!

Just returned from sound check at the Residence. Gotta go jump in the shower again – it is very hot and I am singing in a darned gown. Luckily the Embassy provided floor fans for the stage and so there is a nice breze. But the Sun is burning hot! Yikes!
