That’s what I’ll be singing this weekend at my dear firiend’s birthday party this weekend in Colorado! Did I mention that Kris Kristofferson (he originally penned the song) is performing at the party? Can’t wait! Can’t Wait! Now that I got the digital camera…photos! photos!
The yacht party (Sunday July 29th) was grand fun! Me and the boys were on the top deck by ourselves (save for the captain and a couple other folks) and our host (Bill – and a good friend) kept hoisting up margueritas from the deck below and so Diva and Shivers were merrilly merrilly merrilly merrilly…you get the picture right? Then afterwards Brady & I went to Buddy Guy’s Legends Night Club for a couple with Bill & Colleen. Both Wayne & Ronnie Baker Brooks were there (Lonnie’s sons) and so it was fun to hang for a minute and well, basically laugh and talk shit. A lovely evening was had by all.
The host’s wife (Colleen -a total sweetie – and tiny) had on the same exact blouse as yours trully – only in the teen tiny version. We took a photo and I swear she is the size of one of my boobs!! It’s hysterical. I will try to get ahold of it to show here! LOL. Can’t wait to start downloading my own photos!!!
Afterwards I ventured to Ohm Night Club to show support for my friend Marshall who is sponsoring a Sunday house music party called “Sunday Night Mass.” It was his first night and he had to fight like the dickens to get the night and so we all had to show him some love. So much for my “no late night partying” since I got home about five AM…BUT I am up today at 6:30AM cause I fell asllep at 7PM last night! I can’t imagine what I’ll get done today!!
We have band rehearsal today and so I will be taking lots of photos of the boys to post later. See ya then!
Lucky you! The Higgs and I loved it when he was in the Highwaymen group and even got to see them in concert over here! Awesome band! Have fun in CO, I don’t kow how you can drink in high altitude, I know it’s always a pain for me but somehow I still manage! XOXO It’s a gorgeous day here!
