So my dear Shana Punim turned out to be a very “social cat” with a “great personality” and “gorgeous” according to my pals at The Canine Social Club.
I took Shana to The Canine Social Club opening reception. This is a new business venture started by some dear friends: Samir & Randall. They are hoping to provide a low cost pet boarding facility for dog and cat owners – they created a special “Kit Kat Club” facility for the felines.
I was very excited about both the new business and taking Shana Punim out in public. I was curious to see how she was gonna behave and also delighted to get her some physical activity. I knew they had all kinds of contraptions for her to play on, or with, inside the Kit Kat Club.
She cried all the way over in the cab. I felt bad for her but knew that she would be happy once we got to the facility. I placed her in the Kit Kat Club as soon as we arrived but she kept crying there also. Shana was the only cat there. We humans were on the other side of the window (in clear sight) and obviously, Shana was dying to be in the center of the action.
So, my friend Samir suggested we let her out to join the party. Thus her various love affairs began. First a brief fling with Samir:
Then she turned her attentions to Randall – her true love for the evening.
He held and petted her for over an hour. I fear that she may expect such “fawning over” at home…
She was not nice to Randall & Samir’s two doggies. Shana suddenly became “Gangsta Kitty” and hissed with such venom that the two pups stopped barking immediately. Oops!
Other than intimidating the doggies, I must admit that I was very proud of my kitty’s behavior that night!!

That k9 club is impressive and a creative business venture. We have a lot of k9 shops here but I have not heard of a club yet. Shanna Punim looks like she enjoyed the club very much ๐ Have a great day Lynne!

Hi Stephanie! Yes, Shana Punim enjoyed herself and was the “belle of the ball.” She went right to bed and there were no noisy feline nocturnal activities so we both got a good night’s sleep!
Thanks for stopping by!
