Now y’all know how I feel about the National Anthem. Sista girl knocked it out: she hit the notes dead on, had a respectable amount of emotionality, and chose her dynamics and flourishes prudently without a bunch of vocal runs, bells and whistles. I always think the song should be sung simply and straight. But in my professional opinion: Jennifer did a beautiful job.
