Iron Man & Me!!

That’s does it! I have found my dream man: IRON MAN.

There are several reasons why he is my dream man.
1. The whole genius/bad boy thing is totally thrilling.
2. That suit fucking rocks!
3. He can fly.
4. Did you see the cod piece on that mutha?
5. He is loaded.
6. I can always use him to get next to Terrence Howard.
7. He was very funny & drank a lot.

Okay, okay… relax. I know it was just a movie. I’m just messing with yall. BUT, saw it last night at 10:45PM and had a BALL!!

I have decided that the late show on a Sunday night must be nerdy single guy night cause there were single young white boys everywhere. And they were so polite! They kept holding the door for me! COUGAR ALERT!! Take note ladies. Nerds try harder.

Anyway, Iron Man was wonderful! I laughed, was thrilled; was awed by effects and turned on by Robert Downey Jr. (with his X-drunk- druggie- crazy ass!) & Terrence Howard (jumped his ass right on that action enterprise!) Jeff Bridges (who looks like an old guy) was cool too. Won’t give any spoilers here! Gwyneth Paltrow was adorable (but not idiotic or stiff) as our hero’s “girl friday – Pepper.” Though I must admit her four inch heels bothered me! How impractical and she was so practical! Her high heels distracted me because we were informed by the character that she didn’t want to be considered another one of IM’s bimbos and she often teased him for his frivolous behavior. Then she runs around in five inch heels!! Oh well, it is Marvel Comics and guys will be guys…

I love the movies and I love a good action film with cool toys!! I’d love a man with some cool toys…

Even its US Military/ big guns theme had a nice twist to it. I try to be correct and despise weapon pictures… but… dare I say it? Big guns turn me on… LOL And the whole character redemption thing didn’t annoy me at all. Musta been the writing and of course Crazy- assed Robert’s performance.

Iron Man really takes you there: inside the suit! And there are just some great laughs when our hero is testing his suit and trying to fly. I totally bought Robert Downey Jr. as an action hero. And I really felt the comic vibe you know? Like each frame could have been a frame from the comic. Love that!!

STAY TILL THE END OF THE CREDITS: big plot add on and it is so much fun.

Marvel is making a fortune off this one-as well they should!!
