Just for fun. Just for the heck of it. I feel like a little girl playing in my own high heels – my diva shoes.
But I do wonder how the starlets strut from the parking lot to the restaurant, club or kid’s birthday party in these shoes…
And yeah, the heel and platform are gold metal!! Whoo hoo!
Lynne, those shoes are fabulous! I think there’s a small window (called puberty) that we have to train our feet, ankles, calves, legs and overall body balance to wear high heels. And if you are a tall american pubescent woman-child, there is less need and emphasis on height and thereby we inadvertently miss the hell, I mean “heel” training window. And then, sadly, when us tall folk reach an age when we want to wear heels, our bodies/feet are untrained and we slip, slide, moan and bitch about how unnatural it is…in Paris, I think tall or short, women wear heels at a very young age and threby can wear them with ease as they age. Think about it…you rarely see american women over 5’8 wearing heels with the ease and grace of their shorter sisters in fashion. So, take a lesson from Paris – drink wine, wear heels and ride fat tire bicycles when you’re young…so you have the option when you’re older.
I walk with no fear of falling in four inch heels when I’m tipsy. (read drunk)
