In the Life of a Diva

This and That

February 2, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

What a crazy few weeks it's been! I haven't really been doing much. I am constantly sitting on the fence between complete happiness and total disdain for my life. Actually, that sounds as if I have some sort of chemical imbalance doesn't it? I never really made any New Year's resolutions. I just want to cease behavior that makes my life difficult (overeating, laying around the house doing nothing, being complete inactive and anti-social) Unfortunately I haven't stuck to that so well. I …

On that note…

January 24, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

As I mentioned in my previous blog, mom used to tell me stories about how segregated her integrated high school was...Remember she was born and raised "Up North" where they didn't have mandated segregation. According to family lore, as a small boy he was always …

I know it's been a long lapse since I last wrote. I have been thinking of all kinds of stuff to blog about but never making the effort to sit down and write. My BFF Carla shook me out of my reverie: I better not see the picture of that damned cat first thing (from 12/26/08 post) when I go back to your blog!! Love that girl! …

Kitty Rules

December 26, 2008 By //  by Lynne Jordan

As most of you may have guessed from my last post: "Small But Mighty, Kitty.." I was having a bit of "adopters remorse." My cat seemed to be getting the best of me and seemed to not really like me so much (the whole biting while being petted thing.) I figured the hell with that! I don't particularly enjoy shoveling cat crap either! So, last night while I was on the web I googled: "Why cats bite while being petted" and 476,000 entries popped up! Ah! I wasn't the only victim of cat …
