Dream Date, Gran Torino
I had of a dream date… with myself. I had a fabulous gig this weekend with my wonderful band (nobody does it better than my shivers with a good audience) and by the time I returned home with aching knees & feet, I went to straight to bed. Lip synching the anthem
Well, I found out that Jennifer Hudson lip synched the anthem during the Superbowl. My reaction is simply: No wonder she sang it so perfectly. One of my friends is very upset by this whole thing.I feel cheated! I felt this emotionality and come to find out she was acting!Well, yeah, I guess you can say that. Now y'all know how I feel about the National Anthem. Sista girl knocked it out: she hit the notes dead on, had a respectable amount of emotionality, and chose her dynamics and flourishes prudently without a bunch of vocal runs, bells and whistles.
