Paris, Je T’aime – watch it, rent it. own it!

October 28, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I'm watching: "Paris, Je T'aime" (Paris, I love you.) 2006 C'est magnifique! 20 different directors each filming one five minute movie (2 days shoot time allowed) including the likes of The Coen Bros, Wes Craven, Gurinder Chadha, Nobuhiro Suwa, to name a few. They are all film shorts, in and about Paris and featuring a multi- national cast. I am enjoying it very much! Tales of love, heartache, humor, fantasy and bit of tragedy, all created by 20 different film makers, each one showing their …

Describe the funniest, cleverest and/or most memorable Halloween Costume you ever saw!

October 26, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I saw a huge (tall & muscular) barefoot black man in a diaper (with baby bonnet and bottle) running around the Green Dolphin Street night club on Boom Boom Room night. I asked him who he was... he pulled out a photo of Madonna, pointed at it and said in a baby voice: "MA-MA" It was right after Madonna had adopted her little baby from Malawi. I almost died laughing! Please share some of your most memorable Halloween costume memories! …

first time in a long time…

October 22, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

I have been walking by it for days - months - years, but today I walked right up to it. Pulled the cobwebs off (literally), dusted off the seat and mounted my stationary bike. And I rode. I used to ride the thing for sixty minutes at a time back in the day, followed by free weights, the Bowflex and all kinds of core work. It's amazing how far I regressed into the non active lifestyle and the bad eating habits. But not today! Seriously folks, there were cobwebs on my work out equipment! …

ain’t nothing but a number

September 21, 2009 By //  by Lynne Jordan

"Age ain't nothing but a number." That's what a twenty something said to me last week. I laughed. Well, in that case, I am about one hundred years old yesterday. Seriously folks, I feel pretty young. I don't feel like I'm approaching fifty (in two years) So it was with much amusement that I noticed the …
