So I heard that Aretha Franklin cancelled her Detroit performance citing heat exhaustion. Hmm...Man, wish I coulda cited "it's too damn hot" my damn self yesterday afternoon at Marketdays! Marketdays is a huge street Festival in the predominantly (or what used to be predominant ) gay community on Chicago's North side. This translates to mega crowds and huge crowd appreciation.
