Well, I found out that Jennifer Hudson lip synched the anthem during the Superbowl. My reaction is simply: No wonder she sang it so perfectly. One of my friends is very upset by this whole thing.I feel cheated! I felt this emotionality and come to find out she was acting!Well, yeah, I guess you can say that. Now y'all know how I feel about the National Anthem. Sista girl knocked it out: she hit the notes dead on, had a respectable amount of emotionality, and chose her dynamics and flourishes prudently without a bunch of vocal runs, bells and whistles. What a crazy few weeks it's been! I haven't really been doing much. I am constantly sitting on the fence between complete happiness and total disdain for my life. I am the great grand daughter of a slave: Fannie Revere. One of her sons (David) was my maternal grand father. He fled the South and certain death at the hands of a lynch mob in the early decade of the Twentieth Century, because he stood up to a belligerent white male.
