I saw "Jersey Boys" tonight in Chicago. It was wonderful! "Jersey Boys" is not an oldies revue nor is it some overblown, typical Broadway fare. It's a story about four boys from da hood (New Jersey) who happen to make it in the music industry. It's funny and human. It's another "American Dream" tale that happens to be true and chock full of great tunes. It never struck me as nostalgic nor corny. Does anyone read this thing anymore? I haven't gotten a comment in ages tho I did get one complaint from someone saying that it takes forever for my few comments to post. Blame it on the web manager.
