Could I look any more geeked?

I kicked ass!!

The MC Jim Caruso greeted the audience and told us he was in a Liza’s show. He then said: “And she’s here tonight!” I almost dropped dead on the spot. I was breathless. Then he called me up to sing and I tore it up. All of my old jokes were new again and Liza left her seat to come down to greet me after I finished.

Liza loved me. We were both giddy with mutual affection. I swear it was like I was with an old friend. She is a wonderful spirit to have been so generous with her praise. And she is so tiny.

She asked if I had seen the show. I told her that I was going Tuesday. She said: “Come backstage!”

I am so there. Oh my God!!!

Jim Caruso was so good to me. Linda Lavin and Paul Schafer (Band leader from the Letterman Show) were there also. He made sure I sang in front of Liza and Paul & Linda. There were TV writers from the Larry David Show and Seinfeld and God Knows who else..Oh yeah, a guy from the Fab 5 (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy).
