Doing the Happy Dance!

Mushiness alert: this post contains expressions of such happiness and gratitude that they may make you puke. But I’m just too happy to give a damn!
I’m so happy today.
I am happy that I can sing.
I am happy that I have so many wonderful people who care about me.
I am happy that so many people believe in me.
I am happy to be in the play “Station’s Lost” at Steppenwolf Theatre.
I am happy that I have this natural talent.
I am happy that people will pay money to watch me do it.
I am happy that I have the best band ever. (Lynne Jordan & the Shivers in case you didn’t know!)
I am happy that I get to work with friends every day.
I am happy that I have a pussy cat.
I am happy to have an iphone.
I am happy that I live in wonderful Chicago.
I am happy that five of my classmates from high school planned a reunion in Chicago and came to hear me sing at the Drake last night.
I am happy that I am going to the White House on Wednesday.
Oh, yeah, I’m going to the White House on Wednesday to meet the President & First Lady. (Details later)
I am happy that I am in relatively good health.
I am happy that I lost EIGHT pounds without even fretting about it.
And I am happy that it’s a sunny day out today.
