Birthdays are for kids – and I feel like one today!
I am so excited!! I just received a bouquet of cookies for my birthday!! The delivery man was quite determined that I get them. He called twice and rang my buzzer several times. I was sleeping (picture me with a cheetah print eye mask that reads Queen) and was quite perturbed that I was awakened.
I push the eye mask up, stumble to the door, wiping my eyes and yawning. I look out my peephole and I am greeted by this:
SURPRISE!!
It was sent by the hostess at whose party I am performing on my actual birthday!! Guess who will be doing a super special good job on Saturday, July 18th?!
I feel like a little kid. This surprise was like a big hug & kiss. What a way to start off the day!! I’m eight years old again and I like it!!
