Been meaning to write, but inexplicably unable to do so.

I know it’s been a long lapse since I last wrote. I have been thinking of all kinds of stuff to blog about but never making the effort to sit down and write. My BFF Carla shook me out of my reverie:
I better not see the picture of that damned cat first thing (from 12/26/08 post) when I go back to your blog!!

I have been completely consumed by work. Let me rephrase that: I have been too busy binge eating, watching movies in bed and wandering aimlessly through-out my messy house.
I did start working out. Let me rephrase that: I worked out once at the Trump Spa’s fabulous gym and it was fabulous. That was last Sunday. I have yet to return. Considering that my last gap between workouts was four years, I think I’m in great shape.
I have not returned back to NYC but I plan to do so in February.
I have renamed my cat: Satan’s Spawn.
I spent another glorious weekend at the Spa at Trump. I had two massages, a facial, pedicure, two baths in the hydrotub, saunas and gave my favorite gal Babs a birthday treat. We sat in adjacent infinity tubs and drank champagne and ate strawberries, followed by three hours of reclining on our sides in chaise lounges like Romans, moving only to reach for cheeses and crudites – so decadent.
Business has been slow but I have been booking weddings like crazy.
My house returned to its natural state of utter disarray. I will clean it on Sunday.

I gained back seven of the twenty pounds that I lost. Note above: “binge eating.”
I alternate between feeling on top of the world and totally crazy.
Barack Obama is our president. Time to start that change and create a new beginning.

I just watched that movie the other night, classic!
Glad to hear you have been enjoying the Trump place. I’D like to enjoy the Trump place, I could very easily lay around and eat and drink, I do it here all the time! I like martini’s in the hot tub or if it’s Friday bourbon.
I have been swimming an average of 600 meters a day and doing water aerobics 3 times a week. I’ve been in therapy again since that damn car accident, stupid beamer driver. I loved his comments “I’m so tired and I wasn’t paying attention to the road and your wheel cover stickers are so interesting.” Well that gets you to buy me a whole new bumper, have your premium go up and since your car went under mine repairs to yours in the thousands no doubt. The funny thing was he was really focused on the Buddy Guy Legends sticker (that you dear Diva gave me) and wanted to know if I was from Chicago. I have to say if you are going to be in a car accident be in one with a driver who: speaks English, and HAS INSURANCE!!!!!!

You’re right too the swimming does wonders for the aches and pains and irritation of fibromyalgia!
TEN people waiting to get a lane! I was the first in with 6 others
the minute it opened! I am not sure about the weight part but I have to say I’ve lost a clothes size which is nice
I definitely will join you at Trump! My beloved also loves a spa so he’ll come too! You gotta love a man who loves a good treatment!……..
